To
go around in Florence can be difficult due to the fact that
the paving is often broken, the side-walks are frequently narrow
and there are side-walks without slides. And also, as very often
it happens in Italy, you'll find cars parked anywhere.
The down town area, where the most part of the most important
document are, is not closed to cars and this fact'll hepl tourists
in a wheelchair.
Public
Transport System

city coaches equipped by a special ramp to help people using
a wheelchair to board the coach.
These coach runs on the main city lines and to get more information
please check with the municipan transport company ATAF at
the phone nr +390555650433
Special adapted taxis for travellers on a wheelchair are not
avaible in Florence.
On demand Accessible Italy can provide transfers, sightseeings
and excursions by minivan equipped by lift or ramp.
