Some of the most famous tourist areas in the world are in Italy: Venice, Pisa,
Florence, Rome, Amalfi, Cinque Terre, the Emerald Coast in Sardinia, the Temple Valley in Agrigento (Sicily), the Alps and the Dolomites, the great lakes of Northern Italy, Capri, Naples, Vesuvius, Etna, …too many attractions in Itakly to list all them.
From North to South Italy offers visitors the best of art and archeology world without
forgetting the Italian cuisine that gave the world the tradition of the most tasty and
healthy world cuisine: the Mediterranean cuisine.
No destination offers travelers the most.
And it is also an accessible destination, at least in most tourist areas we listed by caring the territory often very hilly and the fact that Italian historical cities and villages have centuries-old historical downtown areas with paving sometimes problematic for wheelchairs.

Our classic itinerary is available on a tour from North to South (or vice versa) for a period of 8 days / 7 nights that we detail briefly and that can change according to your wishes and needs.
Accessible classic Italy tour:
8 days / 7 nights for minimum 2 pax / 1 wheelchair and maximum 6 pax / 2 wheelchairs:
Day 1) Arrive Venice airport, meeting escort speaking your language and accessible
transfer to the boat with which you reach the city of Venice.
Hotel accommodation (with a maximum of 2 double rooms available) situated a few meters from Piazza San Marco.
Bed and breakfast included. Free time to explore Venice.
Overnight in Venice
Day 2) After breakfast meeting with the guide and 2 hours sightseeing in the accessible area of San Marco square.
Rest of the day at your own or (surcharge) with escort that will help to visit the Venice area that interest you most.
Overnight at hotel.
3 Day) After breakfast, transfer by private boat to the Venice railway station.
To get in the train the assistance will be provided by staff of Italian Railways with a
portable lift. At arrival it will be the same procedure.
Accommodation in train with room for maximum 2 wheelchairs tied-downs (and with a wheelchair accessible toilet) and travel by high-speed train to Florence.
Upon arrival, after about two hours, meeting with the driver and transfer to hotel.

In the afternoon guided tour, in accessible van, wiuth guide, the old part of town.
The visit, mainly panoramic, will last about 3 hours. After the end of the guided visit time at leisure to continue the visit or to enjoy time in Florence.
Day 4) After breakfast full day excursion in accessible van to Siena (2 hours walking
tour of the city), free time for walks and lunch (not included). Continue to
San Gimignano and free time to visit by yourself (no guide included) the old town.
Return to Florence and possibly stay in the cellar for wine tasting and local products
(wine not included).
Overnight at hotel.
5 Day) After breakfast, free morning in Florence. Possible visit to the museum (not
included). Check out the hotel at 12.00 and transfer to the station. High Speed Train
to Rome. Upon arrival meet with the driver and transfer to hotel. Accomodation in accesi ble rooms (Maximum 3 disabled rooms).
Rest of the afternoon to a walk downtown; the hotel, as all our hotels, will be centrally located.
Overnight at hotel.
6 Day) After breakfast, guided tour with accessible van and guide. The visit will get an overview of Rome and its main monuments (outside): St. Peter, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, …
After the guided visit, time at leisure to continue the visit by yourself.
Possible inside visit of the accessible Vatican Museums including Sixtine Chapel and St. Peter’s Cathedral, …

7 Day) After breakfast day at leisure in Rome without the services included.
On demand possibility of additional visits to Rome and surroundings with accessible van or full day excursion to Naples, Pompei, Amalfi… by high-speed train from Rome to Naples and local accessible transports.
In Pompei there is a path for a visit of about 2 hours which is quite accessible.
Honestly it’s is not fully accessible (as it proclaimed in some web sites) but it is the best possible alternative to visit Pompei. Herculaneum is more accessible to people in wheelchairs.

Day 8) Breakfast and transfer to day ‘airport (or train) and departure for the return
