Day1: On arrival at Edinburgh or Glasgow you will be collected from the airport/rail station/bus station by our staff or a special taxi and taken to your city centre hotel for the evening meal and getting to know your companions and tour guide.

Day 2 : Begins with a full tour of Scotland’s capital in an adapted minibus, complete with visit to Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Yacht Britannia, before returning to the hotel in the late afternoon

Day 3 : Leave Edinburgh for the Highlands via Perth and a lunch stop at Pitlochry, passing through the Grampian Mountains to arrive at Inverness/Nairn to stay at a pleasant 3-star hotel for the next five nights.

Day 4 : A day-long trip to Golspie and Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, where the highlight is a breath-taking demonstration of falconry. Then on to the historic town of Dornoch for lunch and then to the famous Glenmorangie Distillery for a partial tour, single malt tasting and a visit to their well-stocked whisky shop. Then head back along the Cromarty Firth where with luck you will see seals basking on the foreshore.

Day 5 : No Scottish Tour is complete with a trip to Loch Ness. The day includes a visit to historic Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre at Drumnadrochit.  The route back to the hotel  includes a stretch beside the beautiful Beauly Firth

Day 6 : A day of two halves. Depending on the weather and time of low tide, a visit to Chanonry Point, across from Inverness, thought to be the best place in Scotland to see dolphins. Then an optional visit to the Black Isle Brewery, a small farm-based independent whose organic beers are being exported as far afield as Japan. Then an afternoon visiting Inverness, with its pedestrians-only city centre and covered Victorian Market ideal for relaxed shopping, before a return to the hotel

Day 7 : A day-long trip to the West Coast and Ullapool, a delightful fishing and ferry port on Loch Broom. A day of seeing the Highlands at their best and a fine finale to your holiday

Day 8 : A day of farewells: a drive south to Edinburgh or Glasgow where you will be safely delivered to your onward travel point home.

Included in your holiday :

• Seven nights in wheelchair-suitable rooms (if requested) in three-star or four-star hotels in Edinburgh, Inverness / Nairn, on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
• Disabled-adapted/wheelchair-adapted coach / minibus for the entire eight days.

• All tickets and entries to visitor attractions as listed above
